Thirumurai Festival Sets World Record at Avudaiyar Koil
On the occasion of Manickavasagar Guru Pooja, a grand Thirumurai Festival was organized by Thiruvavaduthurai Adheenam Music School at Avudaiyar Koil (Thiruperunthurai). More than 1,000 students from Thiruvavaduthurai Thirumurai Centres across Tamil Nadu participated and rendered Thirumurai hymns and Gnanadesikar’s Anandha Kalippu in unison.The event achieved a World Record and has been officially registered in the Divine World Book of Records.

On 14 June 2026, a grand Bharatanatyam event was held at Arulmigu Thyagaraja Swamy Temple, Thiruvarur, where around 600 students participated and performed to the Thirumurai hymn “Thillai Vaazh Anthanarkkum Adiyarkkum Adiyen” as part of a World Record attempt.The event was jointly organized by Thiruvavaduthurai Adheenam Nattiyapalli, Divine Fine Arts, and Aanmeega Aanandham Organization. The programme was successfully coordinated by Mrs. M. Kiruthika Devi and Miss Sai Sri.Several distinguished guests graced the occasion, making it a memorable celebration of devotion, culture, and Bharatanatyam. DIVINE WORLD BOOK OF RECORDS congratulates all participants and organizers for their valuable contribution to this remarkable achievement.
